Marble Hill Farms is an eco lodge, full of rustic charm in the form of a 26 acre property on Roatan, Honduras. The farm derives its name from the many beautiful marble stones spotted everywhere in the area. The land of Marble Hill Farms is very fertile, used responsibly by the owners and the abundance of fruit it yields gave the management the idea for producing their own tropical homegrown preserves. Marble Hill Farms is a tranquil slice of paradise on the stunningly lovely island of Roatan. The farm is all about raw natural beauty which will take your breath away because of its loveliness. The tropical gardens along with the various island creatures are sure to make you smile and actually feel yourself in a completely other world.
Marble Hill Farms is located on the East side of Roatan, Honduras. It is a starkly beautiful place, striking in its authenticity and raw beauty. The owners have done their best to not spoil the tropical paradise with the building construction but instead have incorporated the architecture in so that it looks like a part of the whole landscape.
Marble Hill Farms is devoted to keeping its lodgings clean and fresh for the guests, no matter the length of their stay. The staff is courteous and welcoming and the rooms are extremely comfortable. Marble Hill Farms has 3 kinds of lodgings for the guests to stay in: the Backpacker Dorms, Adventurer Casitas and Explorer Tree houses. The Backpacker dorm has bunk beds, a spacious bathroom and can accommodate a number of people. The Adventurer Casitas have rooms done in wood, cabin style with double beds and a private bathroom. The Explorer Tree houses are cabin style rooms situated along the water’s edge with queen sized beds and private bathrooms. These cabins can be merged with food and diving and a personalized package can be offered to the interested guests.
There is some kind of activity for everyone at Marble Hill Farms, no matter your age or interests. Diving packages are offered along with deep sea fishing, sea kayaking, kite boarding, jam and jelly tasting and walks along the famous tropical gardens of the area. The management at Marble Hill Farms takes the guests through a tour of their farm where plenty of fresh vegetables and fruits are available for tasting. This produce is used for making jams, jellies and other preserves which the guests can also taste as a finished product. Banana trees, mango trees, hibiscus flowers and mutton pepper plants can be found in the gardens of the farm but the best part is there are no additives or artificial fertilizers used; the food is completely organic!
There is a fully equipped dive shop at Marble Hill Farms which is also almost exclusively the only dive shop on this side of Roatan Island. This also affords them the privilege to visit sites that have rarely been seen by other lodges in the area. The main goal of the owners is to provide an amazing diving experience to their guests with the minimum of fuss or hassle.
The Crow’s Nest Restaurant is a popular eatery at Marble Hill Farms which is full of delicious food items. There is a wide array of cuisines offered to the guests including pizzas and different drinks, also for walk in customers.
