Located on the south shore of Roatan, Barefoot Divers is a PADI 5 Star Instructor Development Center situated at Barefoot Cay, which is a luxury resort. With the famous dive site Mary’s Place just minutes away, and situated between the reef entrances of French Harbour and Brick Bay, Barefoot Cay provides divers with unique diving sites and thus a unique diving experience. Barefoot Divers has another PADI shop on the north shore at Palmetto Bay Plantation. This means no matter where on the island you’re staying, your diving needs are taken care of.
The shore of Roatan is lined with hundreds of wonderful dive sites which Barefoot Divers gives you a chance to explore. Not only do you find coral-encrusted wrecks you can also see soft corals providing a habitat for a selection of creatures such as lobsters and sea horses. Therefore, it is not uncommon to see schools of unusual fish stream by, and turtles and rays soar elegantly past when you’re diving.
Barefoot Divers offers you valet diving service which means while they do all the work, you get to have all the fun. This service means the staff sets up, disassembles, carries, and rinses your dive gear for you. They also use high quality and well maintained equipment. Along with that boat groups are small so you are able to get individualized attention and your dive profile is tailored to your group’s skills and interest making sure you get the maximum benefit and fun by diving with Barefoot Divers.
Barefoot Divers is a full service dive center. Along with providing you with high quality air fills, rental gear, equipment repair and scuba instruction the dive center also offers private changing rooms, individual gear lockers and hot showers just steps from the boat dock.
